Mental Health Prediction Models Using Machine Learning in Higher Education Institution

Today, mental health problem has become a grave concern in Malaysia. According to the National Health and Morbidity Survey (NHMS) 2017, one five people Malaysia suffers from depression, two anxiety, ten stress. Higher education students are also at risk of being part affected community. The increased data size without proper management analysis, lack counsellors, compounding issue. Therefore, this paper presents on identifying factors problems among selected higher students. This study aims classify into different categories problems, which stress, using machine learning algorithms. is collected institute Kuala Terengganu. algorithms applied Decision Tree, Neural Network, Support Vector Machine, Naïve Bayes, logistic regression. most accurate model for anxiety respectively.
